Time: 17:30
Venue: Forbes Room, Irvine Building

Abstract: With energy systems that are increasingly complex and de-centralised, energy security can no longer be viewed as security of supply with nation-states as key decision-makers. Energy companies are the main operators of energy systems. How do they frame energy security? What is their vision of risk? How does it differ from security priorities of governments? The session will discuss security perceptions of energy companies that operate in the most fragile ecosystem of our planet.
